It is on top of the hill with a very nice view of the ocean and has a restaurant.

− This is essentially a huge restaurant with two rooms across the driveway they rent. Almost all income is from the restaurant that caters to tourists residing elsewhere. Every night there were four or five birthdays. For each taped @happy birthday” was played VERY LOUD. The restaurant is open until late hours. So it was impossible to sleep until everybody had left the restaurant! Go somewhere else if you want peace and quiet and a good night sleep!

Die Lage war super schön, von der Dachterrasse hatte man wunderschönen Meerblick. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück schmeckte ausgezeichnet, wir durften sogar mehrere Menüs wählen!

− Unser Zimmer war das untere, das auf dem Bild noch den Gift Shop darstellt. Vielleicht sind die oberen besser ausgestattet. Unseres war jedenfalls viel zu klein, womit wir sicher klargekommen wären, das Problem war allerdings das Bad. Der Duschkopf war nicht verstellbar und das ganze Wasser geht gegen die „Duschtür“ sodass am Ende das ganze Bad und auch das Zimmer überschwemmt waren. Wasserdruck war erbärmlich. Ständiger Gestank nach Abwasser, vermutlich wegen des angrenzenden öffentlichen WCs. Türen und Fenster waren völlig undicht und das ganze „Zimmer“ war vollkommen hellhörig, man hörte jede Kleinigkeit.

Ok but too far out you need a car. Toilet bin emptying NEEDS addressing.

The accommodation is a refitted shipping container so was very small. I don’t believe they really concentrate on this side of the business, I think it’s a convenient way to make extra money from the space available. Elizabeth was very nice and friendly but her main concern is the very successful restaurant alongside the accommodation. There was nowhere to hang clothes and just 2 available shelves. The container alongside ours was converted into a toilet/wash room for use by customers dining at the restaurant, no sound proofing - you could actually hear everything. You can see the main road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio just 100m from the accommodation but there is no real access other than climbing up/down a steep grass bank (I would NOT recommend this in the dark) or using a dirt track behind accommodation (slightly longer walk than the grass bank) which takes you through the car park of a hotel on the main road, again this is steep and you will need a torch if you use this at night. If you decide to use the main road leading from this accommodation be prepared for a long walk to the main road and bus transport. In fairness when we booked this accommodation the Booking.com map, I believe, has incorrectly pinned its position. The map shows the accommodation location much closer to Quepos than it actually is. The breakfast was delicious and plenty full and the breakfast staff member was amazing couldn’t fault her at all. I wasn’t too impressed with the cleaning of our room, we were only there for 6 nights so the room didn’t really need to be cleaned BUT I would expect the waste bin in the bathroom to be emptied daily. As you know many countries ask you not to flush toilet paper and to use the bin so I don’t think it’s acceptable to not empty these bin’s daily. The roof terrace has a lovely view with 2 swing baskets. The maximum number of guests = 6 which means 4 of you have to stand. No real consideration for resident guests.

− Too far away from local amenities and bus transport. Restaurant business is their priority and they have no consideration for the resident guests.
