Spectacular view over Lago Maggiore
10.0Borgo Paradiso is located on a rather steep hill and allows a spectacular view over the roofs of Maccagno to Lago Maggiore. Our guest house was more than 100 years old, but nicely renovated. Our 2 rooms were on each side of a fully equipped kitchen with access to a balcony. The rooms had a good size, a wooden ceiling, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a good size and even a window! Our host Charlene spoke excellent English and was extremely nice and helpful. She offered us a gift of blueberry jam and honey and a coupon for free ice cream in the village. She also sent us advice for restaurants and which sights to see at Maccagno. Also the farmer who brought the breakfast (with fresh bread, cake, cheese and prosciutto) was very nice and made us feel welcome.

10.0Das Frühstück war einfach, aber fein. Es kann in der Küche selber zubereitet werden. Die Küche ist ganztags verfügbar auch wenn man zwischdurch mal einen Tee möchte.

− Mi aspettavo un albergo. Posizione raggiungibile in auto con tornanti e strade strette (due auto non potevano passare contemporaneamente). Avevo prenotato una stanza con due letti separati ma ho trovato un letto matrimoniale. Non l’ho fatto presente al proprietario, forse solo un disguido.

10.0Das Apart hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen Malerischen kleinen Dörfchen überhalb des Sees. Die Aussicht jeden Morgen vom Balkon allein ist schon Grund für ein weiteren Aufenthalt hier. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker nur regionale Produkte wie frische Wurst und Käse frisches Brot aber auch Marmelade und Honig . In jedem Fall für jeden was dabei 👍 Wir wurden auch nach der regulären check in Zeiten herzlich aufgenommen und fühlten uns direkt wohl.
− Leider war die Heizung noch nicht eingeschaltet Was bei 9 Grad nachts schon etwas frisch war .. Wir waren aber auch die einzigsten Gäste vielleicht ist es nicht wirtschaftlich da zu heizen..
