I have stayed in similar accommodation before, but they were much better equipped.

The bed was comfortable and, given the hot weather, I was very glad to have the fan.

− I was surprised to find that there was no refrigerator and, given the weather, this was a serious drawback. Although the host had left some water and some cans of coke, the hut was extremely warm and consequently so were the drinks. I stuck to water out of the tap. As there were no bowls or plates, nor any cutlery except for a teaspoon, I was unable to have any breakfast (which I had brought with me) and I had to keep my milk in the basin filled with cold water. I dislike tea and coffee made with faux milk, and although I managed the first morning, by the second morning my milk was no good.

Snug, warm, comfy, bright and sunny. Friendly, very helpful, hostess. Enjoyed the welcome bottle, too! Parking waa excellent, right outside the cabin. Absolutely fantastic value for money and surprisingly quiet. Thank you. 😊

− Shame about the basin hot tap not working and the cracked window, but understand that repair was in hand.

This is not a cottage. It's an oversized shed.

− There was no microwave, no toaster, no fridge and no crockery except two mugs and one spoon.

Peaceful.

Ideal location and property for a short walking stay

I needed an overnight stay prior to walking at Cerne Abbas and this was ideal - the host checked ahead of my stay that I knew location and the room was well prepared. The host had also provided some extra welcome gifts like chocolates and wine which we very considerate
