An unforgettable experience with the kindest people
10.0OBT was hands down the best experience we have had while traveling not only Cambodia, but South East Asia. A once in a lifetime unique experience where you fully immerse yourself in Cambodian culture and kindness while supporting a really special initiative. Getting to know the community at OBT was so special - we spent both days with Sophal and his family and friends and we felt so welcomed the entire time. The bungalow itself was very comfortable. While basic, it has everything you could possibly need. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of May and the fan in the bungalow kept us cool and at the perfect temperature. 10.0Sophal’s OBT Homestay is one of those places that help you remember why you’re travelling! Me and my partner were originally meant to stay for a night but ended up staying for 4 nights. You get used to the traditional Bamboo house very quickly too so we would highly recommend. You get breakfast lunch and diner made for you on site - for which you simply just tally up and pay for at the end of your stay. One of the lovely volunteers even offered to walk with us and his family down to the Mekong for a dip! (The sand dunes are lovely) The real highlight though is obviously being able to spend time with Sophal and his family. They were all so lovely and always had time for us. It was such a nice break from missing home!

10.0Super séjour à OBT où nous avons beaucoup appris des projets de l'organisation. C'est un lieu qui nous a beaucoup touché, les personnes présentes sont adorables. Sophal peut aussi aider pour les déplacements et les visites autour de Kompong Cham. On aurait aimé rester plus longtemps. Une prochaine fois peut-être :)
