Mystical habou domes villa private pool♡

Great location, could do with a few improvements to make it a lovely stay.

This is a self contaned villa so was not expectng breakfast, although to be fair, the host's rep did ask if we wanted breakfast and I assume he would have bought it for us if we had requested it. The air con worked well, which was essential during a heat wave of 47 degrees C!

− When booking, I was not asked the names and nationality of each guest, this happened upon arrival. The host refused to let my drivers stay at the villa, despite there being 6 bedrooms, of which we were using 4. They stated it was for our safety (!!!) which was ridiculous as we fully trusted our Egyptian drivers/tour guides who had come highly recommended. I then had to pay extra to accommodate them elsewhere. The host obviously didn't trust us not to let them stay anyway because the host's rep who showed us round when we arrived, turned up every time our minibus arrived and let himself in on numerous occassions. We had absolutey no privacy. The young man was very polite and was just doing as the host told him but it was extremely uncomfortable throughout our stay. The kitchen(s) were poorly equipped. The downstairs one had only 1 frying pan and 1 saucepan and the fridge didn't work. The sink drainage sprang a leak (but we reported it to the rep and he looked at it). The rooftop kitchen was slightly better equipped but it was too hot to use that one. We were also told to remove our shoes whilst indoors which made it impossible to go up onto the roof terrace as it burnt our feet. The swimming pool was a welcome relief from the heat but it desperately needs a set of steps to get and out safely. There is a ledge in the shallow end but it's a long way down and even our 6" tall male struuggled to get in and out, particularly with the burning hot tiles around the edge. My 5" tall, 80 year old mother really struggled. It just needs 1 step down to the ledge, with a handrail.

L'emplacement était top! À côté du temple funéraire de Ramses III (qui est à faire!). L'hôte est très accueillant et aux petits soins. La maison vaut le détour, avec piscine et tous les équipements nécessaires. Je recommande fortement!

− Nous ne sommes pas restés longtemps dans ce logement et c'est dommage (1 seule nuit).

It was a lovely characterful property both in the local community and very convenient for the valley of the kings. The owner of the property was a fantastic host throughout facilitating all sorts of interesting experiences.

Accueil sympathique. Gentillesse et serviabilité du gestionnaire et du propriétaire de la villa de style très local et plaisant. Piscine agréable, salon d'extérieur (au bord de la piscine) convivial, grandes chambres climatisées, grands espaces de séjour et terrasse avec vue équipée pour un agréable petit déjeuner préparé selon nos voeux et à l'heure que nous choisissions. Tout à toujours été fait pour répondre à nos demandes. L'environnement est calme, les gens du quartier sympathiques et souriants. 3 restaurants locaux, un marchand de fruits et une épicerie pourvoient au quotidien. Tous les sites archéologiques de la rive Ouest sont à proximité, dont certains peuvent être atteints à pied. Situation idéal, maison confortable, personnel sympathique et efficace.

− Quelques réparations de plomberie seraient profitable à la maison.

− Very bad experience with poor hygiene. I even cannot sleep as there were too many flies and ants in the room. The water in the pool was cloudy. It was good to have a smart TV but no remote was provided.

Sitio muy bonito, muy amplio, limpio, piscina estupenda. No necesitamos aire acondicionado así que no puedo opinar. Wifi aceptable. Personal agradable. Desayuno correcto. Estuvimos 10 personas y sitio de sobra. No esperes un palacio para lo que pagas, pero es muy agradable y excelente elección
