Truly the highlight of our trip

From the moment we booked this accommodation, Rashmika helped us with everything. He helped us arrange a transfer from Mirissa to Udawalawe and from there to Ella. He helped us with arranging a safari tour and was very kind and welcoming throughout my questions. He even fixed a cake for my husband's birthday and gave us passion fruit juice directly from the garden. He fixed a breakfast toasts that we could have in the safari and fixed fresh juicy watermelons and papaya from his garden. Everything is locally produced in his garden which is amazing and really shows in the taste aswell. At the accommodation, they had thought about everything from universal socket to air conditioning to cleanliness. It was a peaceful atmosphere when you enter the accommodation with beautiful plants growing everywhere. I wish we had stayed for atleast 2 nights instead of one. Thank you again to Rashmika for helping us with everything and welcoming us!

Le petit bungalow est situé au coeur d'un magnifique jardin où poussent toutes sortes de fruits. Endroit un peu excentré mais très calme. Nous avons pris le safari proposé par l'hôtel et avons vécu une belle expérience à un prix très raisonnable. L'hôte a offert de nous conduire au stand de bus le jour de notre départ.

− Plusieurs taches sur la literie. Petit déjeuner très basique (sandwich aux œufs).

friendly staff. good air conditioning and comfortable bed. beautiful grounds with wonderfully kept plants and trees. It was all very cute. I booked our full day directly with the hotel after I booked. communicated via WhatsApp to complete the safari booking. Sachintha, our safari driver, was 10/10. 20 years of experience with expert driving, great knowledge of the safari grounds and all the animals. He was also fantastic at anticipating animal movement so we were at the right place at the right time to see the action. highly recommended to stay here just to have Sachintha as our driver.

− the shower was a bit hit and miss. it required turning on an electric water heater and the water temperature was not consistent which is a bit annoying.

The family were very welcoming, and the grounds are amazing: all fruit trees and flowers. Papaya, banana, star fruit, coconut, pepper vines, passion fruit, pineapple - with a resident family of mongoose and visited by peacocks.
