4.0The building was reasonably good and there was a balcony with nice views. The room itself was okay and they accommodated us at short notice, late at night.
− The description of this place is absolutely misleading, it does not reflect reality at all, even the location is completely wrong! It mentions several amenities such as a hot tub, air conditioning, mosquito net, and a TV that do not exist in the room. The bed was not too bad though not great, and we didn't sleep well at all because we were woken up multiple times by a very loud barking dog in the middle of the night!! The bathroom was not that clean and there was a disgusting dirty towel on the floor. The pictures of the room showed a bathroom with doors around the shower but this one didn't have them, which meant that the water went everywhere when we showered. The description also said 'Fabulous breakfast' but they served us some stale bread with avocado, a boiled egg and a banana, with African tea, none of which we had chosen, and they didn't ask when we wanted it either, they just turned up around 8 am. They don't even have good coffee, just instant coffee. We decided to leave on the first day even though we booked two nights, and the (very angry) guy charged us half the room price for checking out two and a half hours late! His excuse was that there were clients that needed a room and he couldn't give them our room because we were checking out late, which was a lie because booking.com showed plenty of rooms available for that day. He also never apologised for our disrupted sleep due to the dog. In summary, avoid this place!! There are much better hotels around Kigali. And booking.com should address the issue of misleading adverts on their site.
