Amazing amazing weekend
10.0The property is beautifully decorated in a quiet safe area. The host was very responsive, accommodating and polite. The bedrooms are well decorated and the beds are clean and comfortable. There’s plenty of off street parking and a drive. The hot tub was a lovely addition to what is already a beautiful home.

6.0Decoration and furnishing have been done with care and attention. The owner takes pride in the presentation of the internal decor and has chosen stylish accessories to ensure the home is pleasing to be amongst.
− The fixtures in heavily used areas are in need of some tlc, and over the years wear and tear seems to have caught up with this property. Small issues like a ceiling water leak stain, limescale corrosion in bathrooms, broken radiator taps, a shower head held by a zip cord, a cracked cooker hood and a freezer box broken and unusable all added up over the stay to mean a sense of deterioration was felt. A key shortfall was the drainage in a converted downstairs bathroom which needed serious attention and caused a smell which eventually filled the hallways after each use. Plug in air fresheners were provided but empty, so this problem became an over riding negative by our second day stay. The property is clearly cleaned at surface level, but if objects are moved a build up of previous guest mess can be found. A deep thorough clean of kitchen and bathroom areas would result in a sense of high standard cleanliness in what is a great looking property. The hot tub is a fun addition which we enjoyed and the robes are a welcome touch. The host made booking very easy and accommodating, and was very pleasant to deal with. Comfort wise, the beds are very comfortable and linen was fresh and crisp. A few headboards were wobbly but didn’t detract from a good nights sleep. There were 5 adults in our stay and the sofa in the lounge suits 3 maybe 4 adults at a push. A larger comfortable sofa that isn’t a sofa bed would elevate the satisfaction for those using the lounge area for the whole stay. Dining area was laid ready for us and plenty of room to have a leisurely meal.
