Self contained Studio apartment with kitchen♡

Misleading listing and poor property condition meant I could not stay.

Unfortunately, there was nothing I liked about my stay. I left shortly after arrival because the property was not as advertised and was not in an acceptable condition.

− The property was not as advertised. The listing stated there was parking, but on arrival I was told there was no designated parking, only limited on-street parking, which was full and restricted to two hours. This was a key reason I booked the property. The accommodation was also not clean. The bedding did not appear to have been freshly changed, there was visible dirt and debris on the bed, the carpet and chair were stained, and there were maintenance issues, including a damaged door lock/frame and exposed cables. I contacted the host immediately and left the property without staying overnight because it did not meet the standard advertised. I returned the key as instructed and have provided Booking.com with photographs and videos to support my complaint. I am seeking a full refund.

Conveniently located but in need of attention

Convenient property for a short stay that's very well located. It's in walking distance to the beach, town centre and train station. There are several nice cafes and restaurants close by, and the main shopping mall, with supermarkets and other major shops is just moments away. And if you fancy a trip further along the coast or to other landmarks, it is very easy to pick up a bus to several destinations. The most important and commendable factor was the host seemed to be always on hand, and was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues.

− Although superficially clean and tidy, what lets this accommodation down badly is that it is in need of a deep-clean, and help to eliminate ceiling cobwebs, dust and build up of grime, especially in the kitchen area. The worst thing is the heavy smell of damp and mustiness.

Great location poor parking but would come again great value for money
