to be honest nothing

We stayed only one night, and that was more than enough. The sofa bed was broken, the mirror in the bedroom was extremely dirty, and the bathroom was not clean either. The overall condition of the facilities was terrible — nothing like what the photos show. We paid quite a lot for just one night, and honestly, it wasn’t worth it at all. The place looks nice in the pictures, but in reality, it’s awful. Definitely not recommended.

It looked best in the rearview mirror.

The young lady who met us was friendly enough. Dolins Pub is 5 mins walk away.

We were kept waiting 20 mins for the keys. The elevators didnt work, and we were forced to carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs. There was a little puddle of liquid feces on the stairs. There was also 2 east european women screaming at each other in front of the elevators. The whole vibe of the building was low rent social housing. Im sure there was a lot of refugees housed there, which is fine by me, people have got to sleep somewhere. But not necessarilly where I am paying 200€ a night to holiday. If you are keen to buy drugs or prostitutes, you wouldn't need to look too far around the area there. The night was surprisingly quiet, and I slept well with the help of Mr Guinness. But I was fully expecting to be woken up by screams and sirens... Onto the appartment. The place is a hole. It was "moderately" clean. There was a lot of dirty cuttlery in the drawer. The towels and sheets were threadbare and full of holes. There was only about a fifth of a roll of toilet paper between the 2 toilets. Or should I say one and a half toilets. The "ensuite", ahem, was accessed through a cracked mirror wardrobe door. It was a wardrobe converted to a bathroom. To sit on the toilet (which quite frankly, I wasnt too keen on...) I had the basin pushed against my chest. Im not huge, 1,8 meters. It didn't matter about the rusty shower. Or either of the showers. There was no hot water. Only about half of the wall plugs worked. We always had great accommodation in Ireland, until this place. It a sh*thole appartment in a sh*thole area of Limerick. We fled out of the place.

Nice Apartment with Easy Access to the City

10.0

The apartment was very clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was friendly and helpful. The location is great — close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The living room was colorful and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
