Beautiful place just needs more to do

Absolutely spotlesss beautiful property. Was not disappointed with the property

− There was nothing to do. It was absolutely freezing during the night. Pure lanes so no walking space. The jacuzzi made 0 sense and we could not use it

It was easily accessible

− We booked through booking.com and there wasn’t an option to book without a hot tub, we wanted a hot tub anyway so that was convenient for us as a couple, the hot tub was shared which wasn’t an issue for us however we didn’t manage to once go in as the hot tub was dirty and had dirt all around the sides I sent a picture to the owner and they offered for us to drain, clean, refill and wait for it to reheat this wasn’t convenient.The oven and pans were also all covered in grease. We were offered a partial refunded however the owner was so rude over the phone which has now lead to me making this review. It is very unfortunate as it was a lovely cabin but we will not be returning. The photos inserted here you can see bits floating. I also have videos of all the dirt around however it won’t let me insert videos.

It was so bad we were in hysterics!

− Transfer to the cottage without notification. It was cold, not facilities to make a cuppa everything was in the dishwasher not put away. No hot water, no toilet roll and a brick followed my husband down the stairs. We were booked for the weekend but only stayed the one night and left at first light. As for the people, I raised these issues and all I got back was "I have a video of the toilet roll!" safe to say we're not staying there again.

Site moved us to a different accommodation as the one we booked was extremely cold with some facilities no working

This was a short trip as I was visiting my mother who was very unwell so had to revise my plans. Staff very accommodatin

Lovely converted barn in rural Staffordshire.

− Got a bit confused with parking as dark when I arrived This was a last minute booking and unfortunately the property had not been cleaned to an appropriate standard due to illness-Sarah was extremely helpful in sorting everything out for me thank you.

Dissatisfaction

− Ants in the cupboard and all round the kitchen, there was a half eaten bag of sugary sweets in a cup in the cupboard. Left on the second day of a four day stay. No compensation offered.
