Size and location were best

− No toilet downstairs, shortage of things like toilet rolls, crockery, glasses etc which with 6 people made it necessary to frequently replace materials or wash up in order to re-use.

Beds very comfortable and 1 of bedrooms downstairs

− Paintwork shabby, plumbing in bathroom not great. Tap leaking in kitchen and spurts water all over worktops, needs a new washer.Blinds in kitchen and downstairs bedroom don’t function as they should so left open due to condition. Carpets require deep clean, garden certainly not as seen in the pictures, patio area full of weeds, grass requires cutting, very patchy in certain areas, a lot of maintenance required. Water damage on ceiling around sky lights in dining area and kitchen.

The accommodation is in a great location, close to Poole town centre, with a Co-op food around the corner. Check in was easy, and well instructed (though be aware property address on listing is incorrect). We didn't find the road as busy as some other reviews have commented on, and reversing on to the driveway really helped getting out. The house is very spacious and well laid out, beautifully furnished and relatively well equipped. Overall this is a great spacious property in a great location and would recommend staying here.

− There is parking for 2 cars on the driveway though the angle of the driveway could make this challenging. The security deposit situation didn't sit right with us. Whilst I appreciate there needs to be some cover for damages, an upfront non-refundable £95 Vs £400, refundable if no damage, out an account for potentially a month with that hanging over us the entire stay felt uncomfortable. I expected the property to be immaculate. It was not. Scuff marks, a couple of maintenance issues, the outside bin full to the brim, the inside bin mouldy, dirty placemats, mouldy pegs and bedside tables with sticky rings. It was just let down by a few issues related to the cleanliness.
