Just an OK stay for Baylor homecoming weekend.

Quiet and had a porch to sit out in the morning.

− It is quite interesting that before we arrived and during our stay we would get daily messages asking how to improve our stay. However when I kindly wrote my genuine feedback with the suggestions on their private texts and I did it twice - no response. So here it is to prepare other renters: The property is far from campus. Solid 20 min drive but this was my fault for not checking prior to renting. Hello Lindsey Thank you for your messages to us and for checking in if everything is ok. Everything was only ok. As a business owner myself I would love to relay a few notes to you about the property. The scent your cleaning crew is using too strong to say the least. I took it out from the outlet and placed it on the porch and opened both doors to vent the place. The cleaning lady did not vacuum the rug or around or cleaned under couches for a while in the living room or she needs to do a better job. It had crumbs, dirt, someone's long hair, I stepped on a slimy large piece of candy left in the middle of the rug. The couch had white dog hair or cat hair on it. Not much but it is weird to sit on a couch in short PJs knowing someone else's pet was laying there and finding its hair. Even a rug outside by the main entrance is filthy. The first impression counts! And maybe this is not cleaning crew's job but it should be someone's job. The amount of HUGE spider webs on the porches and huge spiders on them should be cleaned. Bird poop everywhere on one of the chairs on the porch should be washed as well. The kitchen is understocked and cheaply equipped. Not enough kitchen towels - there is 1? Not enough hot mittens to handle hot dish - there is 1? Old utensils. Drawers are not organized. Everything is thrown wherever and it looks messy, old and dirty. You don't even have a drying rack for dishes. You have 3 maybe 4 cups for tea/ coffee total? Overall - I would not rerent your property.

Remote not so cozy stay and scary aggressive hosts

Very quiet and clean .Comfortable beds. outdoor area for seating

− Weak almost non existent WiFi and no tv and property is somewhat remote. Shower wouldn’t drain properly so water pooled quickly . Insect problem on the outdoor patio so hard to sit out and enjoy. The place is represented as a stand alone cottage/apartment and it is not. It is a part of a larger house split into three units and there are two others in your front and backyard so guests were renting the units on the other side …making it a not so private experience. Also there are several other cottages in the same cul de sac creating a busy community cottage stay or bed and breakfast stay vs a country remote feel . Driveway is a hazard to your vehicle When I checked out it was brought to my attention that somehow booking.com didn’t take my payment so instead of nicely bringing this up the owners called me 20 times with 5 numbers through the span of 2 hours accusing me of using a fraudulent credit card and threatening to file a police report on me for nonpayment despite it showing paid on my end thru booking. Turns out booking did not charge me ahead of time and it was a simple error on the property managers end . Extremely unprofessional and aggressive hosts. Somewhat scary also for a female solo traveler as I said before with weak WiFi and hardly any cell service in the middle of nowhere . I’d think twice about this one . Overpriced, unsafe, and owners extremely aggressive and invasive

It was very cozy and calm. Not to mention beautiful! We didn’t know until we arrived but It was also some houses down from my family’s house so that was a huge plus!

− I fell in love with it. I have nothing bad to say.
