Lovely apartment in beautiful mountain village.
10.0Beautiful apartment with patio and splendid mountain views. Clean, quiet, two bathrooms; one is next to the bedroom. Pigna is lovely village and we visited all villages in area by bus. The host Alessandro (on phone) was always available to help us and help resolve minor problems. The local manager, Laura, was charming, and collected us by car from another village when there was a one afternoon transport strike, as fortunately she was passing through. Local pasticceria near bus stop ideal for breakfast with the local villagers.
− Apartment is on 3 levels with some steep steps to bedroom. Access from the bus stop (or a car park) via steep path, steep steps, narrow cobbled alley ways through old town was extremely difficult with luggage, and took a long time to struggle there, especially as we are over 75. In spite of this we enjoyed our stay, but steep access to go anywhere is not ideal for the elderly or less mobile guests. Few restaurants in the village, all closed on different days.
