10.0The barn was lovely. Set in a peaceful, idyllic location but within a short drive of all local amenities and attractions. The animals were a joy to have around. Dogs, chickens, duck and horses. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. We had such a lovely time.
Very special property in a lovely area
10.0We had very specific criteria for access needs and this one ticked all the boxes. The industrial/rustic decor was fabulous! It was just what we were looking for. The kind hosts left a lovely Christmas gift which was appreciated after our long journey.
− It's not a "didn't like" more describing the sofa bed (not shown in photos). It's a fold out one stored in the bedroom rather than one you pull out of the sofa so it moved a bit on the tiled floor plus it seemed smaller than the average double but our adult sons managed it by being very careful!
Cosy cottage
8.0The cottage was warm and cosy and spotlessly clean. The location was peaceful and the host friendly.
− The bed was not very comfortable, it sloped to one side and the pillows were lumpy. The lighting was poor and no mirror in bedroom where you would plug in hairdryer. We liked the peaceful rural location, but I think that the property description should give more information about the fact that it is quite a way down narrow country lanes to Cowbridge the nearest town, so that people are aware of it.
