Charming Country Retreat with stunning views♡

Gorgeous view. Glass enclosed conservatory where we ate our meals. Clean property both inside and outside. A bathroom located both upstairs and downstairs. Comfortable beds. The list describing when the various types of garbage was to be taken out each day was helpful. We would recommend this location to others, and have listed below some items that would have made our rating a 10.

− The owner indicated she would meet us upon arrival but instead the groundskeeper was there, opened the villa door, pointed and said “key” and that was our only introduction to the place. He was smiling and friendly but since he didn’t speak English, it would have been wonderful to have some type of instruction book to tell us how the facilities worked, check out instructions, etc. The upstairs shower controls are broken and need repair, the dishwasher minimally washed dishes, the dryer didn’t seem to dry clothes. While the kitchen had TONS of baking dishes and pots and pans, there was little to assist in cooking a meal, such as oil or even pepper. We would suggest that the coffee mugs be replaced or at least the very chipped ones thrown away. Since garbage needs to be put out for pick up each day, it would have been helpful if replacement bags had been supplied without us having to ask for them. After we checked out of the property on the last day, we received a text asking that we turn off all lights, and turn off the air conditioner and heater. We said to ourselves, “There was a heater??? We wish we had known that for the 7 days we felt cold!” Please note that absolutely none of the items listed above did anything to spoil our wonderful time at this villa, we just felt that the owner might want to perk up a few things for future visitors.

The most amazing view and location. Many outstanding wineries nearby. Staying here made us feel like home. Comfortable and clean. We didn't want to leave. We highly recommend staying here.

Probably the only major mistake we made on our trip was not booking a longer stay here! After spending a week in a very old building in Montepulciano, it was wonderful treat to come here - the place was immaculately cleaned, the layout for 2 couples (one with a 4-month old baby) was excellent, the furnishings and beds were comfortable, and the views were stunning. There is a nice closed-in patio area for dining and a well-stocked kitchen. Absolutely delightful stay!

− That we only booked one night; we wanted to be close the Florence airport (which we were) but we could have really relaxed and had at least another night.

Honestly I am lazy to write reviews but I must write and appreciate the hosts Maria and her sweet mother for welcoming us. The definitely it's a charming country retreat with stunning views ,we wish that we could stay longer. I was lucky to find house ,I think it's better to stay here instead of Florence as it is just 15minutes drive,here u get tranquility more space ,stunning views and lovely hosts who just live next door.
