The privacy was great place was so sweet and quirky they had thought of everything. The hot tub was amazing. Had a great weekend for our first trip away without kids. The couple who owned are just lovely

Nothing loved all of it

Brilliant stay, great base for day trips such as Eden and Lost gardens.

Very retro accommodation. The caravan has everything you need for a couple on a short stay. Loved the hot tub especially early mornings listening to bird song whilst enjoying a cuppa and evenings under the stars and fairy lights enjoying a glass of wine. Vinyl record player, retro appliances. Lovely and cozy with the radiators that are installed. Bed very comfortable which was a bonus as I’m very fussy with mattresses!

It didn’t feel very private when in the hot tub at night. One evening, lots of men with head torches approached who probably were doing no harm, ( they told me they were naturalists looking for something but as a woman, it made me feel vulnerable so I had to get out of the hot tub and I was so frightened, locked myself in the caravan. It’s a shame as men don’t have to think how there presence impacts on woman especially at night and when you are only wearing a swimming costume.

So special and quirky

It needs emphasizing that the door is around the back of the caravan. It wasnt a big deal and the owners were super lovely about advising us but we felt bad having to message and call them

Absolutely perfect for a tranquil few days away!

The location was perfect for me. Secluded with great scenery nearby. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The caravan was in a late 50's / early 60's style and comfortable. It came complete with original wet room, fridge and even an old record player!

They say that you can't have your cake..and eat it. I would have liked a grill and hob but kitchen space was at a premium. Cooking was done with microwave and airfryer (I'm something of a luddite and never used one). A bbq is provided. The walk from the car to the caravan entails a slope which my poor old arthritic legs struggled with. The owner, however, was kind enough to help transport my luggage. Oh, and those Woodpigeons walking on the metal caravan roof at 6am make an unwelcome alarm clock.
