clean inside and good location. We stay in Anstruther four times a year for its location.

− Difficult to find from the postcode alone. The written instructions are also difficult to find from. We arrived after a six hour journey to then spend another twenty minutes finding the property after going straight to the postcode provided. We had my eldery parents following us which made it even more stressful using the postcode provided. We eventually contacted the number provided. Maybe you could provide a postcode that doesn't take you into the Council estate down the road? Why don't you send guests the carpet shop down the road's postcode and tell the guests 'when you see the carpet shop, carry on straight for twenty yards and turn right when you see the KEEP CLEAR sign written onto the road surface''? This will help others find you easier. The attic bedroom is not fit (around the bed area) for anyone above four feet two. The eaves of the building mean you struggle to get into and around the bed on one side (its a double bed so one of you gets the short straw on this one). The en-suite bathroom in here is very small and with very few surfaces on with which to put your 'bathroom stuff' on and to get ready on (especially with the other person getting ready on the attic bedroom). Parking. We took two cars and although the site says 'parking' there is only one-space-per-property. Fine if you are in one car but as the property sleeps 5 maybe 6, you will invariably have instances whereby two cars are visiting. Although there IS a sort of parking behind the property and down the the church lane, the practicalities of loading and unloading your bags etc are somewhat restricted in this area. Overall, there are other Pittenweem properties in this area that in my own opinion, are far better than this.

Delighted with the property which is in an excellent location for the East Neuk. Would have no hesitation in returning

Location excellent for our purposes 3 bedrooms ideal for the group House well equipped

− We found that the mattresses in the single ground floor and twin ground floor rooms were not very comfortable . Not a deal breaker

Party of 6 with a wee dog we had a great stay, very close to harbour, shops and parks. Will return.
