Very nice, clean, and spacious property
9.0The apartment was nice and clean, very good cleaning, really. Very comfortable and spacious.
− The staff was ok. But the only issue to consider was: when we booked, it appeared that we were making the reservation for the whole apartment, but the owner was claiming we just make the reservation for one room and he was being considered with us with the price, and he did not accept any other type of payment but cash. He was not rude, but it was difficult to deal with him about all these payment details. It was a very stressful moment. So be prepared.
Nice stay in brand new flat
10.0Immaculately clean propriety in a brand new flat. Safe neighbourhood. Conveniently located near the Panamerican Highway that crosses the town from North to South which is great for those on pilgrimage to Las Lajas Shrine. Bus terminal within a reasonable distance. Very quiet to get good rest after long hours of waking and sightseeing. The proprietor’s mother was very welcoming and polite.
− Ended up paying 50 % more than the rate provided by the app. Seemingly the proprietor gets a higher rate for which guests are inevitably charged and accountable for. This is baffling, however the rate was still reasonable for such a nice property. I just needed a place to drop my bag, take a shower and rest. I was on a catholic pilgrimage trip and spent most of the time outside the apartment. Be ready to hand a US$ 50 refundable deposit fee to cover for possible damages. Payment is also a pain in the butt: if you’re a Colombian national be ready to have either cash or access to a digital wallet that frequently crashes. (Nequi). For safety reasons I avoid carrying cash, and confirming payment was a very stressing experience as I don’t use digital wallets. The proprietor was very understanding and trusted me to stay overnight waiting for the payment to go through, which eventually happened.
