Clean, Nespresso with capsules, well equipped kitchen, beds comfy

− Near main road so fairly noisy. First night guest above very noisy 1-2 am. Wanted somewhere to sleep before early start rowing start. Communication from staff was terrible. Asked in an app message to upload photo ID which we did on morning of arrival. No reply or entry code despite multiple messages. Arrived a property, no signage and thought we had been scammed. Rang booking.com who (after 10mins of an Ai bot) got in touch with property who eventually supplied code (1hr after arriving) Lots of messages unanswered to ask about parking (listed as on site) and being told to look at a link which didn’t exist. There is one space for two apartments. Another car park on far side of building but only given info ok day 2.

Well equipped

− Really poor hygiene standards. Fridge door dirty, three bags of ice cubes welded within freezer, washing machine filter ingrained with grease. Dead plant in bathroom that was there last year. Dusty ornaments, broken chair in bedroom, no hangers in second bedroom. Remains of a hash brown under table! Really noisy due to traffic and works being undertaken downstairs. Filthy staircase and bin area; same as last year!! Won’t be back

The location was excellent for Trent Bridge cricket ground. Kitchen was huge. Lounge was comfortable. Layout - with bathroom at opposite end to lounge allowed for some privacy. Bedroom curtains good and heavy which helped keep light out given the sun rises early in summer.

− There was one hand towel for 3 nights for 4 people. When more were requested we were told they would be but they weren’t. As we were out all day we could only communicate when we returned after office hours each day. There were no fans provided even though temperatures were up to 33 degrees. Be aware that the steps up to the apartment are steep with no handrail. Overall it felt stingy - a few milk pots in the fridge and a salt and pepper. In one of the bedrooms the chair seat was completely torn and unusable. Be aware that Radcliffe Road is a major thoroughfare with traffic lights on the corner where apartment is and as such traffic is particularly noisy as vehicles rev to set off.

On a 4 day break for a family celebration in Nottingham and the accommodation was absolutely ideal. Beautiful decor furniture and fittings. Very comfy beds and bedding. Everything was supplied. It was really beautiful. We'd probably rate it as one the best places we've stayed.

− Only downside was 2 external flights of concrete steps to front door, which, wasnt clear at time of booking. Although manageable for 3 elderly ladies, it would benefit from a handrail. With ongoing renovation works on the ground floor, it did produce a small amount of dust. However there was no works noise or disturbance during our 4 day visit.
