We had a wonderful time in this cozy house by the river. The peaceful countryside atmosphere brought us silence and relaxation, and the proximity to the river made our stay even more enjoyable — it was lovely to walk along the bank and listen to the water. The house itself is very comfortable and fully equipped with everything needed for a great stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable mattresses and pillows — we slept really well and felt refreshed. A perfect place to relax, and one we would love to return to!

What a truly beautiful and relaxing stay! This cottage is an absolute gem in North Wales. Nestled in a stunning location, we loved listening to the gentle stream and being able to walk directly into the mountains for the most breathtaking views. It's the perfect escape—peaceful and private—but also perfectly situated for exploring. We easily visited the Lynn peninsula, Portmeirion, and many spots within the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage itself is a delight. It's tastefully decorated and has been so thoughtfully restored to reflect its history. We were so impressed with the attention to detail and all the amenities provided, from the generous welcome basket with local treats to the luxury touches like Molten Brown toiletries. Our host, Nia, was fantastic with communication and made sure our visit was seamless from start to finish. Thank you, Nia, for a perfect stay!

Perfect idyllic cottage in beautiful surroundings

Setting was beautiful. The very short walk to the most beautiful waterfall . The cottage is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Had so many extra useful things, kitchen extremely well stocked.

Wonderful stay at Riverside Cottage

We had driven 5 hrs, to a cottage we had originally booked months ago to find it hadn't been cleaned, dirty unmade beds, kitchen and bathroom filthy. It was 5pm and had no one to stay so last minute looked at Booking.com and saw Riverside cottage was available booked it immediately & within 30 mins had arrived at Riverside cottage & settled in with. Cottage beautifully decorated and clean, the location was absolutely beautiful and lovely 20 minute walk through the woods to the waterfall. It definitely worked out better in the end. sadly we have a dog which we didnt bring this time so will be difficult for us to return , however would definitely recommend the cottage to all our F&F
