A very nice spacious property in a lovely private road, the area was pretty and quiet. There were 3 of us and each had our own double bedrooms, very comfortable. We walked across the bridge in the park to get to the town centre which was really about 15 mins, there was a pub Houseboat by the river and we had a meal there one evening. The owner kindly made up a bed downstairs but we never used it, when a relative due to pick up one of us didn't need it in the end. Thank you for making us welcome.

− The patio doors could do with a shader, it was very hot that week and the sun was pouring into the room, making it uncomfortable, that we couldn't eat on the table. The pans in the kitchen were wobbly, they really need to be replaced. The bathroom doors could do with a lock.

Comfortable beds and sofas. Large kitchen/ dinner. Great to be able to park our car off the road at the end of the garden. Lots to see and do in and around Shrewsbury.

− It's only about 20 mins walk into town, but there's a fairly steep hill on the way back!

Lovely property with great garden space and hard to find parking for three cars. Walking distance into town centre.

− The only problem for us was that we were three adults needing three rooms and the small room has a small child’s bed with an uncomfortable mattress. This was not highlighted on the website details. The host did kindly make up the single bed in the lounge which one of us did actually use but not ideal.

A truly beautiful house, but more needed to make guest’s stay more comfortable

This is a beautifully finished property. The kitchen in particular is amazing-probably the nicest kitchen we have ever had experienced with really high spec equipment. It is a welcoming, cosy environment that suited us perfectly as we past through Shropshire. The decor and personalised touches are evident throughout. The sitting room is very cosy. Bathrooms finished to a high standard. Great off street parking which was great for loading up the car. Location is good, about 10 minutes walk into the town. Host was communicative and quick to reply.

− We stayed for 2 nights with our 10 week old daughter. Unfortunately, as my husband was preparing to put her down in the provided cot, the cot collapsed (she was not in it at the time luckily). A more appropriate travel cot is needed. While the glass at the back is stunning, blinds are needed as the room gets very hot. There was no first aid kit. Having to strip the beds and put out the bins is not what we’re used to when staying at a property. I had to empty the dishwasher when we arrived as the previous guests’ dishes were in there! There was no fan provided, it was extremely hot while we were visiting and a fan is definitely needed. I do not think the property is child friendly.

Beautifully decorated and furnished fabulous location a short walk the park the pub and the centre.
