A really nice stay on the edge of the mountains. The host, Mohamed, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

Very quiet location on the edge of the village, with various archaeological sites - Medinet Habu temple, Colossi of Memnon, Ramesseum, and more - in walking distance. Lovely roof terrace with a view over the mountains, and of the early balloon flights coming past.

− It is right in the edge of the village, so shopping and eating are not ideal (we used the hotel restaurant a couple of times, and the tagines were very good).

Fantastic location on the West Bank, far from the noise and bustle of the city on the East bank. Tibs is tucked in on a back road, right where the green fields and palm trees come to an abrupt stop with the desert beyond. The only thing that beats the location and views from the rooftop is the friendliness and hospitality of the hosts, Mahmut, and the rest of his family! The included breakfast is fresh, abundant, and deliciously typical. Next time we are in Luxor, this is where we'll be staying.
