The location. Walking distance to the beach and Matakana village is just a short drive away which has plenty of good resturants and wine farms to visist close by.

− While the room was clean and contained the essentials, we were disappointed given the rating and price point. The accommodation is essentially a room located at the back of a property, with street parking only. Despite being advertised as having internet connectivity, there was none available during our stay. There is no heat pump, and the portable air heater provided was quite noisy. The room appears to be uninsulated, which led to a cold night with significant condensation on all the windows in the morning. The concrete floor would benefit from carpeting, particularly around the bed area, to improve comfort. Additionally, there was no television provided. Overall, while the room was functional, the amenities and overall experience did not match the price or rating—especially when compared to other options that offer greater comfort and features.
