I would book again for a short stay
8.0The room (it had no window) I stayed in was very basic but I had what I needed for my short stay (2 nights). There was a single bed, bathroom, chair and a cupboard with hangers. A towel was provided as well. The host very quick at replying my messages and he waited for me to arrive to enter the premises. The location was perfect for me! There are plenty of restaurants, shops and it's in between the 2 main mosques (Quba and Nabawi).
− I would provide bigger paper cups as there is a kettle. The ones in the room were too small for a tea/coffee.
Avoid this hotel like a plague
1.0That I was able to leave this hotel, without getting cheated out of more money than I did.
− There is tons we didn't like. The owner Matrouk is a dishonest, cheating, thief. His assistant Bilal was extremely rude. Both were great at cheating people put of money. The room given was not the one we booked. Flies everywhere. Extremely filthy. A very very bad double bed. Then they forced is to move to a different room which didn't had a kitchen. This was touch for me due to various reasons as die to health issues we prefer home cooked food. Then he promised to drop us at train station as a compensation for the new worse room but never showed up. Also when we reached he wanted is to cancel booking.com booking so he can give us 300 riyal as bribe out the the money he would have stolen from booking.com. That's haram and unethical and I declined. Oh and the upstairs neighbors had very rowdy kida whoade noise most of the night. Matrouk talks a sweet talk but he is a wolf in sheep clothing. I will be contacting Saudi ministry of tourism with an indepth written complaint because I don't want more hajj and Umrah pilgrims to suffer due to the hands of this extremely deplorable company. Almost no toiletries in washroom except a low quality hand wash mixed with water and a 99% empty shower gel or shampoo that we didn't touch. Oh and the hot water geezar of the washroom would stop working after only a could of minutes of use. Do note that by paying only a little more than what I paid them I am staying in a4 star hotel in Makkah with none of the above issues and free buffet breakfast also. Save yourself the trouble and avoided this hotel like the absolutely thieving garbage pedddlers that they Are. They are a big stain on the beautiful country of Saudi Arabia. Shame on them. I have been praying for them to fix their ways during my whole Umrah and subsequent tawafs. May Allah's wrath be upon you for lieing, fraud, thieves, falzw promoses, false advertising and more. Avoid them like a plague. To booking.
