10.0What a gem of a property. A wonderful welcome and beautiful accommodation. We will definitely return when next in the area.
Short break
10.0Location was perfect for cycling along the coast. Our hosts were very friendly and between us we rescued 5 ducklings that were reunited with their mummy on the golf course behind accommodation.
− Personal things not liked but someone else might disagree, bed was very soft, the settees hard and fridge noisy but the next visitor may not notice any of these, might like a soft bed, not even sit on settee and fall straight to sleep 💤💤
Great place, great location and really nice hosts
10.0Simply the best. We’ve been touring Uk for 5 weeks and have stayed at good hotels and it b&bs. This topped them all. Great facilities. Lovely big room and full size kitchen. Good sized ensuite. Secure parking. 5 minutes from Seaham about 15 from Sunderland and the same from Durham

10.0We always like staying here! Diane and Alan are super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is always immaculate, clean and well presented with everything you would need for a short break, and nothing is too much trouble! Perfectly placed for the area - we come here because our eldest is studying at Durham Uni so we can get to him in 10-15 mins by car, but we've also used Sharpley Hall as a base to head out to Seaham which is lovely too! We would strongly recommend staying here and we will certainly book again next time we're in the area!
