A Peaceful Stay Overshadowed by Unreasonable Overcharging

Peaceful location in a remote area, and the room was very clean. They stored our luggage after we checked out, which we appreciated.

− The main issue we experienced was repeated attempts to overcharge us. The hotel is in a remote location up on a hill, so we needed a scooter. They offered to arrange one but charged roughly double the price compared to rental places down the hill. While that was still acceptable, the scooter arrived without a helmet. When we asked for helmets, we were asked to pay an additional fee equal to the scooter rental price, even though helmets are normally included and required by law in Indonesia. In the end, the cost of “renting” helmets was higher than simply buying them, so we purchased helmets elsewhere. Overall, it felt like there was no clear pricing structure, and any extra request came with disproportionate charges.

Uncomfortable due to difficult access and unhygienic conditions being located in close proximity to chicken farms.

Great views and nice room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

− Lobby reception area was far below acceptable standard. Hotel is located amidst poultry farms and so there is a constant stench of the chicken manure and numerous flies Very unhygienic, particularly around food. Access the hotel is difficult due to its location on a steep hill. Staff picks guests up and transports them up one at a time by motor bike.

Großartige, moderne Unterkunft. Ruhig gelegen mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Familiäre Atmosphäre und toller, schneller Service. Auf Anfrage beliefert einen das Personal mit den gewünschten Lebensmittel zu günstigen Preisen. Perfekter Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen und zu entschleunigen. Wir werden wieder kommen :)

Great food, breathtaker enviroment. Amazing, peaceful. The staff is so helpful and brilliant!! I loved it, absolutly offered! Defenetly I will go back, but for a longer time. Thank you for everything!!

Gorgeous pool and cute village

Oka was very accommodating. He helped me carry my bags up. The pool is beautiful. It's peaceful and the views are spectacular. There's ample parking. The Wi-Fi is strong and there was hot water for the shower. I also fell in love with the cute village. The accommodation is located in. There's a sweet dog there who likes belly rubs. The sound of nature is so soothing. I enjoyed my stay in the new room so much I extended. I will stay here again in the future when I want to write and want peace and quiet. Do not let what I did not like put you off from staying here. I believe the problem with the ants in that room has been solved and the room they assigned to me did not have an ant infestation. It is a family run business and I always do my best to support local businesses.

− The initial room I was assigned had an ant infestation. They were all over the bed and came out of the walks onto the bathroom floor. I always spray a little bit behind the bed just in case there are spiders. I did not expect that many ants to come out. I was immediately moved to another room that was clean and did not have an ant infestation. The next day they removed the bedding and started cleaning that room, so I sincerely hope the ant infestation has been taken care of, but honestly needs to be fumigated. Do not let this put you off from staying here, but I could not write a review without mentioning this. The other room had no ant problem plus the property is well maintained and absolutely gorgeous.
