The cottage was really lovely and in a tranquil location.
7.0The cottage is set in a tranquil location within easy walking distance of Salcombe centre, access to buses and shops with lovely adjacent walks from the cottage. The three double bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished. The host couldn’t have been more helpful before and during our stay responding to a couple of queries.
− The layout online was deceptive. The terrace was at the rear of the property up very steep steps accessed from the bedroom floor so was not quite as anticipated for ease of eating outdoors. The lounge and kitchen were both very compact for 5 adults! The instructions in the information folder in the cottage require updating to reflect current practice eg. rubbish disposal instructions
