Comfortable apartment in lively Bergamo piazza

The one bedroom apartment is located in a lively piazza in Bergamo's città bassa. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for a long (12-day) stay. I did not cook but it looked like there was everything you'd need to cook a meal. The internet/wifi connection was strong and consistent. I appreciated the washer/dryer and the microwave. The bathroom with shower was nice, great water pressure. The location is great for exploring the città bassa and is only a short walk -- 10 minutes -- to Porta Nuova where you can catch bus #1 to città alta (I downloaded the atb app to buy and store tickets). The funicular 🚠 to città alta is a slightly longer walk but easily doable. Lots of shopping and eating in the area. The communication with the owner was excellent -- and I appreciated her prompt replies and advice.

− Of note is the noise from the piazza, especially in the morning. This didn't bother me much but between buses, street cleaners, garbage trucks and revelers, it can get noisy. The apartment windows helped buffer some of the noise. Also, note that the apartment is on the second floor (3rd US) with no elevator -- 52 steps in all.

Bardzo dobry apartament, w pełni wyposażony, bardzo czysty, przestronny. W dobrej lokalizacji 10 minut od dworca głównego, 15 spacerkiem od Cita Alta. Dużo restauracji w pobliżu.

Great value for money, and super polite and professional hosts

The communication and helpfulness of the hosts are commendable. Self-check-in is simple, and it meant a lot to us because we arrived on a late flight. We were also allowed a late check-out, which saved us because our departure flight was also late in the evening, so we made the most of that day with all the comforts of the apartment.

− Before booking, I read that the area where the apartment is located can be noisy, and that was the case for us. But I think that was expected since the apartment is in an attractive location. So I would choose it again despite the noise

We really enjoyed our stay everything on the door step only complaint was the fans/air conditioning.

The appartment it's newly renovated, very well equipped IKEA style with good bads and evevything you need. Great position in the historical center.

− The only AC unit (a new model, not fixed on the wall) is in the leaving room, works only for 6 hours/day and must be cooled down, with low efficiency low in summer hot days. The inside temperature in summer season is over the limit, and can be unpleasent over night with the windows open and noise from the street.
