The room is spacious, cozy and comfortable. View is nice, from the terasse one can see picturesque Almora city and beautiful hills around. Room has all the basics. Though it is next to the road, it is quite peaceful. Owners were helpful with arranging taxi, etc. Town is nearby, bit of walking though, but it is worth it, nice walk through the picturesque town of Almora.

− There is lack of privacy. Terase is open space, common for both guest rooms with no separation. Also, owners are regularly passing , so curtains need to closed all the time for privacy. Room is missing electric kettle and some basic kitchen crockeries which were all listed on booking and were supposed to be there. No towels, no toiletries in bathroom (also listed on booking). Owners need update info on booking properly to avoid confusion. Breakfast was supposed to be free for me as part of a deal for genius level 3 member, but owner wanted to charge us extra for it, saying that info is not correct on booking. Had to explain how booking works, show him booking details etc… at the end, thankfully we were offered breakfast with no extra charge. However, it was rather disappointing, little portion, no variety, not asked us about the preference, and worst of all: no coffee or tea was offered which is essential. out of three nights stay we asked only one morning for a chai with breakfast, and they charged us extra for that. Not very hospitable. In fact, the very opposite. Owners have yet lot to learn about hospitality. But most importantly - update info on booking and be honest to the guests. For now, low score for this homestay, but I believe it has potential to improve.

One of the best stays from attending to the end the owner is kind. Cleanliness , comfort, and location wise it's perfect. Overall this was the best choice go for it 👍☺️
