ABSOLUTELY SHAMBOLIC! THERE WAS WORK LITERALLY RIGHT OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT THAT STARTED AT 6AM! EVERY. DAMN. DAY. The works started THREE MONTHS prior to us arriving and paying but they FAILED to tell us as they didnt want to miss out on the money! We would have 100% cancelled if we knew about the works! They also told us we could park anywhere and did park as locals did yet we were slapped with a fine and 5 police and a tow truck...overkill! The hosts didnt care and didnt see the problem! They told us good luck getting our money back. Total ignorance

. I liked the cleanliness. I appreciated the a/c, and the promptness of a small repair to the toilet seat. There were items for breakfast, but they were old and stale. Not enough sugar, no milk for someone getting there at night without possibility of shopping.

− Just about everything. Shower door did not close well, and water did not drain fast enough. There were virtually no surfaces available in the kitchen and the small bathroom, where the window was blocked. Two of the few cabinets were padlocked. The very small fridge was totally inadequate,no ice cube trays, not very cold .TV had a total of three channels. Place was extremely noisy from the street outside,even with closed windows.Beds and couch uncomfortable,especially the sofa. Not enough clothing storage.No washer. Everything was done cheaply, and I never even met the owner.

Loved the location of the apartment as was easy walking to all the main locations in the Old town including the old Roman Theatre. Was travelling with my 80 year old Father so the two bedroom apartment worked well for us, as well as the security code locking of the apartment which meant we could do separate things without needing to share the keys etc. The shops were close to the apartment including the supermarket down the road and were all easy to get to. Our first time to Benevento and would definitely return.

− Only a minor observation that the basin in the bathroom seems to be slow draining, so if there were more than two people in the apartment this could be an issue. Was OK for the two of us.

− - It wasn't nice that they showed up at the door 20 minutes before check-out time. - The shower cabin is quite small - The toilet door doesn't lock, broken - There is no water tank in the building, the water was cut off and we couldn't even go to the toilet and shower
