Sembra di stare in campagna, in pausa dal caos della città. C’è calma e intorno alla casa si incontra la semplicità della vita tranquilla, l’Egitto genuino che cercavo con i miei figli di 8 e 11 anni. In più il proprietario dell’appartamento, il Sig. Hamada, è molto gentile e fa di tutto per mettere i suoi ospiti a proprio agio. Ottima posizione se si vole fare l’esperienza in mongolfiera.

− Un po’ difficile da raggiungere la prima volta perché google maps non trova l’indirizzo facilmente. Ma poi la posizione è top!

Très grand appartement, très agréable d’y séjourner. Ali nous a trouvé un chauffeur pour une journée afin de visiter la vallée des rois, le temple d’Hatchepsout et les colosses de Memnon.

everything inside the apartment is very modern. the host, Mohamed, who speaking very good English, lives on the ground floor, always ready to help out via WhatsApp or in person. he will bring whatever you need within an hour, sometimes even in minutes upon request. He even took us to temple of Hatshepsut right before it opened and picked us up when we are done. so easy to walk to the ferry dock to get to the east bank via public ferry (only 25EGP for "tourists") while enjoying the quietness on the west bank after a busy day. so many good restaurants and street food available depending on your budget. there is a supermarket 5 mins walk away which we went almost every day for grocery, cooking supplies, drinks and snack. so close to the hot air balloon launch site which means you can see the balloons every morning from the balcony! all pictures posted by the host are accurate. so glad we stayed with Mohamed for four nights. Will stay here again if we ever visit Luxor again.

− the road where the apartment is located on is very rough and unpaved, which is common in Egypt i guess (wolf restaurant was our pick up and drop off point for our driver) everything else is perfect!! Thank you, Mohamed!

The property was very well located inside the village with the view to the mountain. The homemade family food was delicious. The apartment was also very tidy and well kept.
