Rarely do you come across a place which feels like home
9.0We stayed in room 2. Decor, shower and coffee machine were perfect. Fluffy white towels and crisp white sheets. A top of the range fan was provided too, which we appreciated due to the hot weather. Hospitality was exceptional - we felt very welcome during our two night stay and next time we are visiting Dartmoor we will definitely stay at The Horse.
− A small fridge in the room would be the icing on the cake.
Pleasant surprise
9.0The bedroom was really lovely and comfortable, there is an all singing and dancing kettle, very fast boil and a coffee maker. The king-size bed is the comfiest we've ever slept in. A beautiful bathroom but just one drawback, the shower floor is really slippy when wet. We hadn't noticed the shower mat to use the first time so please make sure to use it. Marlene and Nigel are lovely hosts. Oh you have to try the Pizzas 😋😋

10.0This place is gorgeous. The bed was soooo comfy. The room was gorgeously decorated and everything in there was well thought through, even the fan which was super quiet. We ate in the pub and the food and service were spot on. Will stay again!
