Turkish hospitality at its finest.
10.0The epitome of turkish hospitality. Mejd, the gentleman at the reception, was just so effortlessly warm and charming. He makes guests feel welcome and at ease, as if no request will ever be too big. I think he is one of the best hotel staff I have ever encountered in all my travels. Shukru, one of the bellhops who asaisted me, was also very warm and helpful. The hotel itself is well appointed. Clean and beautifully decorated, with a nice rooftop view of the bosphorous. Rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. It’s nice to come home to after a day’s worth of walking and exploring. Location was good, too. Although it is a bit of a climb going to Suktanhamet area. It’s also right in between two T1 stops, which is good for the most part. But after a few days you start wishing one of them was a little closer to the hotel than the other. All in all a very good hotel.
− Nothing.
Absolut empfehlenswert
10.0Sehr gut geführtes Hotel in bester Lage für die Exploration aller Stadtteile. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal
The hotel is definitely not worth the money
4.0Staff
− * The beds are too short, and our feet hang off the ends. * The rooms are very small, and I seriously doubt they are actually 20 square meters as advertised. * The view is directly onto a wall, whereas the photos on Booking.com show large panoramic windows with a view. * The mattresses are extremely uncomfortable. Every time someone turns over, the entire bed shakes. * There is no restaurant at all. * There is a terrace, but apart from a distant view of the Bosphorus, all you can see is a railway station and a huge, unattractive white building. The terrace itself is furnished with nothing more than a couple of plastic tables and chairs. * There is a strong smell of sewage in the corridors and the elevator. * The hotel is definitely not worth the money. It looks much better in the photos than it does in reality.
