Sehr ruhige Lage, dennoch ausreichend Restaurants in der Umgebung und ein Lebensmittelgeschäft. Direkter Zugang zum Meer und Schnorchelausrüstung liegt zum Ausborgen bereit. Besitzer ist sehr nett, bekamen eine Kokosnuss und er war stets um unsere Anliegen bemüht . Nur wenige Hütten vorhanden, somit wenig Touristen. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden 🤗

The hosts at Penyon Beach House were incredibly accommodating and cared about my comfort throughout my 7-day stay. They did not let their language barrier get in the way of satisfying my needs, and we maintained consistent communication via WhatsApp and in person. Translation apps were handy. They even offered to clean my room every day, which I assured them was not necessary; that's how much they cared about my satisfaction. The second-best highlight of my stay is its location. The sprawl of dive centers is located both west and east of Penyon Beach House. Getting groceries at D-mart just down the street is a quick 5-minute scooter ride, which is very convenient. Tropiz Restaurant is within walking distance, under 5 minutes east of Penyon Beach house, and is spectacular. Food and drink are decent, and there is live music in the evenings. I enjoyed many sunsets and beachcombing by accessing the beach via Tropiz or the wooden staircase directly from Penyon Beach house. In other words, Penyon Beach House's location is superb. You can hear the waves crashing from your bedroom and be lulled to sleep every night. As I grew familiar with dive sites around Nusa Penida, I learned that Penyon Beach house faces Sental, one of the many popular dive sites. When the waves are not strong, guests can easily walk down the stairs from Penyon Beach house and go snorkeling at their own risk. Best of all, the AC (air conditioning) in my room performed excellently. It was cold when I needed it, especially during the peak of the hot afternoon sun. I also enjoyed the icy cold beverages that my in-room refrigerator chilled. Penyon Beach House is surely the place to feel at home while away from home. There's also an opportunity to get to know the Balinese hosts and see what full-time life on the island looks like. I felt very comfortable during my stay there, and I already can't wait to be back!

− I gave Penyon Beach House 9.0 out of 10.0 because there's always room for improvement. The locks on the room door can be considered questionable for urbanites. It is not the most secure lock but the hosts and many locals on the island have assured me that Nusa Penida is very safe. I have on several occasions accidentally left the keys inserted in my scooter for hours, and I'm happy to find it untouched and still there. Penyon Beach House has security cameras, which make up for the poor locks. Ketut, one of the hosts, has hinted at the prospect of installing a pool. I think this will bring in more patrons.
