Perfect country stay

10.0

Easy to find, private, lovely being next to the river. Warm and comfortable. Very clean and well eqipt. Owners very helpful and friendly and the local pub - brilliant.

I would say everything for us was brill and no issues at all but for some healthy feedback - the mattresses are a little too firm I think. They don't compliment the cosy room and bedding unfortunatly. An outdoor light would be fantastic to enjoy the river in the evenings even from the comfort of the living area, to be able to look out onto something. The decking style steps are very very icey (new years stay), they could do with some anti-slip coating and a sign perhaps (just to cover yourselves).

The accomodation is so lovely! The stream running nearby and the sheep opposite are the perfect touches to ensure it is a relaxing and peaceful break. The kitchen is so well stocked, we didn't need to bring anything from home.

The dangling cord blinds in the bedrooms are a concern for children and toddlers. They are well positioned in the other areas.
