Exceptional! An unforgettable stay!
10.0We were a group of seven (family and friends) attending a two-day festival in Milton Keynes. The Wheatsheaf is an absolute gem. It has been lovingly restored with incredible attention to detail and full of character. There’s so much charm packed into every room that you’ll want to take time just to appreciate it all. My cousins (18 and 22) loved the period detail of the place! The whole house was immaculate - genuinely one of the cleanest homes we've ever stayed in. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything we could possibly need was provided for - from fluffy towels to gorgeous shower products to a fully equipped kitchen! There was lots of space for us to spread out and having multiple bathrooms made getting ready super easy. There’s a shared courtyard with lots of parking and a lovely little seating area. We didn’t end up using the seating area as much as we’d hoped, mostly because it’s shared with another apartment (though it’s not always occupied). It’s also relatively quiet. The house is on an A-road but aside from a bit of rush hour traffic, it wasn't a huge issue. Once we were inside with the windows closed, we hardly noticed any noise at all. It's at the quiet end of the high street so lots of shops within a five minute walk. After long days at the festival we couldn't wait to get "home", relax and unwind. Staying at The Wheatsheaf felt like the best of both worlds — the style and comfort of a boutique hotel, with the cosy, personal touches that made it feel like home.
− It's really difficult to find anything we didn't like! Communication was mostly great. It was a little patchy after we booked and before arrival but that's it. A very minor detail. During our stay, whenever we needed anything the hosts were quick to respond.

10.0Everything was perfect. Our hosts were very accommodating with a last minute booking. The property has been beautifully done throughout to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you
So glad we stayed here, most beautiful restoration I have ever seen.
10.0This is a truly beautiful property, lovingly restored.
− The only downside is that it is noisy but that is because it is right in the centre of Towcester which is a trade off any property in that location will have
We wish we had more time to enjoy the house
