6.0Good location as long as you stayed away from the town, which is very run down. Great transport links and great walks along the waterfront to Cullercoats and Tynemouth.
− There was a heatwave. The shower didn't work properly, and we didn't know where the fan was that was listed in the amenities. We did ask about this on the second day to be told there wasn't one. However, on our third and last day, we were called by the host to say there was one in a cupboard in the stairway outside of the flat. The flat was in the attic, so we were boiling. The host sounded nice enough and offered to look at the shower on our last day but we were going out and didn't want a stranger amongst our personal things and space when we weren't there.

9.0Lovely space decorated really nice and very clean. Comfy bed and cosy feel. Perfect for metro and beach and shops.
