Beautiful ocean view, but some issues need attention

The main reason I chose this apartment was the large terrace with the possibility to sunbathe privately, and it fully met my expectations. The terrace is spacious and the ocean view is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. I also appreciated that the apartment was well equipped for a longer stay. There was a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, cooker and a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking. The air conditioning worked well and made the apartment comfortable during warm days. Overall, the terrace and the stunning sea view were the highlights of my stay.

− I arrived early and asked whether an early check-in was possible. The response took quite a long time, and I was informed that I could enter the apartment earlier only by paying an additional €60 fee. The biggest issue for me was a strong unpleasant smell coming from both bathrooms, especially the second one. There were fragrance diffusers placed in the bathrooms, which may help some guests, but if you are sensitive to strong scents or have allergies, this could be a problem. Unfortunately, there was also a noticeable drain/sewage smell in both shower areas. The kitchen sink was poorly designed and water drained very slowly, often remaining on the flat surface around the sink. Before arrival, I specifically asked which coffee machine was available because I wanted to bring the correct coffee capsules with me. I was informed via chat that the apartment had a Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine. However, when I arrived, there was a completely different machine. As a result, I had to purchase different capsules and could not use the coffee I had brought with me. When I arrived, the Balinese bed on the terrace was not prepared, and I had to contact the management team to have it set up. There were also only two broken clothes pegs available, so I had to buy my own. The electronic key system may be convenient for some guests, but it takes time to get used to. During the first days, opening and locking the doors was not always straightforward, and the instructions could be clearer. My biggest disappointment was related to the security deposit. I was later accused of damaging a door that I had never used. The deposit was temporarily withheld while the issue was investigated. Although the money was eventually returned, I still lost money because of bank and currency conversion charges. My advice to future guests is to carefully inspect the apartment upon arrival, check all doors and windows, and document any existing issues immediately.

Apartment is amazing, excellent location, spectacular view. Very comfortable beds, clean towels, good kitchen.

− Bad odour from the master bedroom bathroom. Had to keep the door closed all the time with a turned on vent. Noisy road. Agent that had to open the door on arrival was terrible. He didn’t know the instructions and insisted that we have to find a key somewhere outside. We arrived at 7:30pm with a 2 year old child. I’ve spent 1,5 hours on the busy street, begging him to open the door, but agent said, that we have to find a key, then he said that we are standing in a wrong location. It was a huge stress for me, as we were standing on the street, with a sleepy child and didn’t know what to do. At 9:10 pm agent finally called me back and said, that he will open the door. Nobody even said sorry to me.

The balcony. The views. Very comfortable living area.

− Firstly on arrival we could not make contact to allow entry through main gate. Although we had a nice document with photos of how to find the apartment, we tried ringing to get access as per the instructions but no answer, just a call centre type menu. Contact eventually made through booking.com app itself, but were over an hour standing outside. There should be a better way ! One bathroom was unusable due to a bad odour and I notice from previous review this was also an issue in 2024. Some areas outside are tired and need refurbishment (rendering etc.)
