Very disapointing; felt ripped off.

− I do not mind roughing it (African Born & bred) but to pay R55000 for 2 nights is extortion. Booking.Com seriously let this facility down. Their site deluded my wife into thinking quote was in Rands but it was in Au$ Then although usually Booking.com are cancelable & alterable, not in this case. We were ripped off international rates not SADEC rates though we are South African, then refused any corrections. The camp is tired & needs a huge revamp. My estimation of value between R2500 & R5000 max a night for a couple. I challenge a correction!!
Beyond expectations
10.0This place is magical and went far beyond expectations. Watching elephants drinking at our pool was insane, and our guide Zuma was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a great drive experience, walking close to rhinos, elephants and spotting a lion tribe. Food is awesome too. i wish we could have stayed longer!

Parents traveling with children are required to present documented proof of the children's date of birth to verify the ages. Children under 6 years old cannot be accommodated at Ongava Tented Camp. Kids between 6 and 12 must book and pay for private activities (subject to private vehicle availability and at a surcharge).
Minimum age for walking activities is 13 years. Child participation in activities may vary depending on the camp and activity.
