Great get away in the woods.
10.0Located on a farm in a beautiful setting. Enjoyed the animals. Karla and Sam are fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed them.

A place where I felt cozy and cared for
10.0Carla was very communicative prior to arrival. Upon arrival, she immediately made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was so friendly and sweet, gave awesome recommendations for places to visit in the area and even drew out a little map. Her animals were all so sweet. Her home is located in a very peaceful foresty area which is prime for relaxing. Everything was well kept and facilities were clean. In the morning, I woke up to a note offering a banana and farm fresh eggs. As I hadn’t left before she made breakfast, she offered to make me something which was beyond sweet. She knew I was a single traveler and had a day of adventure ahead. I felt extremely cared for the entire trip. I couldn’t recommend the home and spending time with Carla enough. Thank you for everything ❤️

9.0It was such a pleasant experience with both Carla and Sam, they are friendly, warm and supportive host. Carla had provided us very good recommendations for things to do in the Bayfield area. It was a lot of fun interacting with the dog in the farm.

− This property and the pictures online were very misleading. We were not made aware that there were others staying in the house, whether that was other vacationers or the owner of the home (The owner of the home lives there, so you were never alone) There were 3 cats roaming in the house that we were not made aware of. The inside did have a foul odor to it. The inside and outside of the property were unkept. There were goats roaming outside around your vehicle and dogs on chains and in cages. There was no key to get in or out of the house if you plan on staying out later than 10:30pm. You are expected to ask for a key and you cannot lock the door to your room from the outside. You have one small bedroom and are expected to share all other amenities (shower, bathroom) with others staying at the time and you are given specific color towels to use. We felt so mislead that we gave up the entire cost of the trip ($526) to stay elsewhere in hotels for the week. We did not stay a single night of the 4 that we paid for.
