5.0The host was communicative and nice. The location is 10 out of 10 no doubt. Beautiful beach and views from the room and the beach itself. Beach service. Lots of restaurants nearby just across the street, same is with grocery, liquor and drug stores.
− Mandatory resort fee $135/night which is not mentioned at the time of booking. Big surprise at the check-in that you have to pay this fee to be able to stay in the hotel. The fee covers hotel facilities (pool and beach service) but it's not mentioned when making a booking. Cleanliness was an issue - some of the bed linens/bed blanket had dried blood stains (ouch) and some yellow stains too. In-room towels were of sad quality and worn out. Room did have a coffee maker but no tea or coffee (at least could have had 1-2 packs), the property had no napkins or paper towels, no dish sponge and no dish soap. These could have been provided for guests who travelled and didn't have a chance to go to a grocery store for provisions yet. These are some basics yes, yet these could have been supplied by the property and would have made a noticeable difference. One expects to buy food and drinks at a grocery store when staying in a rental like this one but not necessarily dish soap, sponges, paper towels or napkins. Couple of starter packs for coffee and tea would have a made a difference too but there were none.
