Amazingly stunning location - at the foot of glorious views & walks. You can sit outside & marvel at the scenery. 2 minutes before you set off up to the mountain trails. Beautiful bedroom & views. Cosy breakfast area. Fabulous hosts, friendly & helpful & knowledgable of the area

Wonderfully quiet, in the heart of the Lake District fells - astonishing.

We loved the location, way out from main roads, into small roads and mountains. The B&B is at the back of Catbells, and our room had an astonishing view of Causey Pike to the west - well I think most rooms did. It was quiet, and a long way from noise and hassle. An early morning walk along the lane was particularly special.

− It's not that we didn't like the location - we loved it, as I wrote above. But we were unprepared for the relatively long drive to reach it from Keswick along very small roads. It would be good if the property could mention this.

The Location is 10 out of 10 😍 its a lovely farmhouse.. loved that there was no TV. The young lady at breakfast was really lovely. Food delicious. Would certainly return . Spoke with an elderly couple who have been going there 25 years, I can see why. I usually stay the other side of Keswick but this beats the scenery. My friend and I are not walkers but I can see how it would be the perfect location for them.

− The owner.🤷‍♀️ Not once took time to interact with us, no attempt at a welcome which I found bizarre for a small country farm hotel, I expected her ro be more welcoming . We met her sister in law who owns the Glamping pods who couldn't have been lovelier, more interested and pointing out surroundings, suggestions etc. Absolutely chalk and cheese.

Quiet ,far from the city beautiful surroundings. Good standard batchroom

− Lack of tv but I suppose it is intentional.

A lovely guest house in a not-too-far location from town but was let down by poor noise insulation between rooms!

It was a lovely location - a short drive into Keswick and close to many treks and lakes in the surrounding area. The room was clean, well presented. The breakfast was well presented and delicious and the staff were amicable.

− We found the walls were quite thin in that we could hear every footstep, cough, snore and voice of the people in the room next to us… we were awoken quite early each morning by this which was quite frustrating.
