Very disappointing stay with dirty facilities, uncomfortable bedding, and a room that did not match what we booked.

Nice staff. Owner was nice and spoke to us. Helped with expediting laundry.

− Not many facilities at this hotel. No restaurant or bar. The room we booked on Booking.com was not the room we got because they said it was not available. We booked a large double bed but got 2 single beds instead. There were no bedside tables or towels in the room when we arrived and we had to ask for them. The tables in the room were badly stained. We also asked for the room to be cleaned while we were out, but when we came back in the evening it still had not been cleaned. The bathroom had mould and the shower head was rusty and looked dirty. Not a lot of pressure. No toiletries were provided and when we asked, we were only given a small bar of soap. The bedding was rough and full of lint, which was very uncomfortable, especially with sunburn. The sheets were very thin and old and really need replacing. Left after 2 days, just finished the kalanggaman trip. Tried to cancel the 3rd night but no refund offered so we just left instead.

I absolutely loved the women that owned the RGE hotel, she was kind, sweet and thoughtful. I could see her vision of what she wanted in a vacation place to stay. It was minutes from a great beach. As well I felt very safe and it was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend it and stay there again. Some of the buildings on the property were still under construction, like the restaurant and the function hall and I can't wait to see it when it's done.
