Horrible, pest/ cockroaches infestion issue + hygiene issues (not clean at all)

At first glance, the apartment looks exactly like the photos — very cute, nicely decorated, and you feel happy when you arrive. But unfortunately, that impression doesn’t last long. As soon as you start looking at the details, the reality is very different. The apartment was not properly cleaned: dirt and food residues under the sofa, behind the fridge, and in areas that clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time. There were marks on the walls, and even the cleaning equipment itself was not clean.

There were marks on the walls, and even the cleaning equipment itself was not clean. The wardrobe was not usable (blocked by furniture), which made it difficult to properly settle in. The most concerning issue was the presence of cockroaches. I saw several of different sizes during my stay, including in the kitchen area and even in utensils, which made it very uncomfortable. Sleeping in an apartment with this kind of infestation is clearly not acceptable. In addition, the washing machine was not working for several days, with no clear timeline for repair. I do want to mention that the team was responsive and helpful, and they eventually arranged a change of apartment. However, this happened after several days, and the beginning of the stay was already significantly impacted. Overall, while the apartment looks appealing at first, the lack of proper cleaning, hygiene, and maintenance made the experience far below expected standards.

▪︎ perfect location!!!! 5 mins from beach, bus station to airport, and new shopping centre with huge gym and big super market. Everything you need is walking distance ▪︎ shower was amazing ▪︎ lots of windows in flat and you can see the most amazing sunrise from the window opposite the bed! ▪︎ kitchen clean and had almost everything you need including a dolce gusto pod machine ▪︎ very easy to get access when you arrive ▪︎ big full length mirror

El apartamento en sí muy luminoso y amplio. La ubicación fue buena, pero por pura casualidad. Se sitúa en santa catalina (lo bueno es que está al lado de la estación de guaguas y tiene transporte directo al aeropuerto) pero muy poca conexión con otras zonas de la isla.

− En cuanto a la zona, no está a dos km del centro, sino a más de 4. Y no está a 100 mt de la playa (aunque sí se vea el mar, pero es el puerto). Está a 1 km de la playa. Encontramos una plaga de cucarachitas. Es verdad que llamamos al servicio y nos atendieron, pero por este precio no deberíamos ni encontrarnos con esto. Y por último, para entrar al portal te llega un codigo a tu correo. Pues a mí este código me llegó a un supuesto correo de Booking (al que yo no puedo acceder) pues si no hubiera sido por un chico que entraba al portal, nos hubiéramos quedado fuera. Hemos llamado al número que estaba (en teoría) disponible pero nadie nos cogió la llamada.
