A truly fabulous short break in the cutest cottage in Blists Hill
10.0The cottage is in adorable courtyard, steeped in history and character. The neighbours are all friendly and quiet. The beds and bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the whole cottage was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for our short stay.
− Nothing at all, it was perfect.
Enjoyable, we may well return.
8.0The location of the property was excellent, the cottage was clean and well equipped. Everything was working and of good quality. It was quirky and creaky for all the right reasons!!!!. Very effective heating system which was responsive to manually using the thermostat. Walkable distance to a range of local shops. The managing agents were excellent and helped with a very quick response to an issue we had - THANK YOU
− The carpark was not really adjacent to the property, although it was safe and secure, it was accessed up and down quite a steep slope which was icy and slippy when covered with frost. But we do acknowledge this is in no way down to the owner of the property.
Quirky clean good location

Great cosy countryside getaway in a historic building
8.0Great location, convenient for shops and local pubs. The pictures actually make it look smaller than it is - it was a perfect base for us (two brothers) traveling to see our father in the nearby village. We didn't realize the history behind the barns when booking and the surrounding area is the birthplace of the industrial revolution. Beautiful countryside, great pubs and lots to see. Private parking is a bonus, and it's not far from the M54.
− The courtyard is a little scruffy needing some upkeep, and as far as we could see nobody really uses it. Be prepared for squeaky floors - it's an old building!
