Looks Good in Pics- Terrible place to stay

1.0

The Ac worked & it was spacious

The host kept turning off the water so we could not shower for days, sometimes it was dark water coming out of the spout. Due to the flooding the day we arrived the pool was overflowed with dirty water from the swamp behind the house. The host said he would clean it and it would be ready in 1 day. We stayed a week; it was never cleaned or ready to be used. There is also no ventilation for the bathroom, which is really unfortunate for a family of 3 boys. I begged the host via whatsapp to fix these problems and he never replied. ALSO the street was completely flooded for all 7 days we were there. It is too far from the central streets and too close to the swamp to get pumped dry. SO yes there are tons of mosquitos too. I would love my money back. My family would have been better in a hostel. I would have moved them because this place was so bad, but it was NYE and everything was sold out. AND bring your own towels, garbage bags, drinking water ect. All appliances were broken or dirty. Including the fridge-which was empty but we never determined from which part the fish smell was originating.
