9.0A well equipped and cozy little house. Loved the rooftop terrace for having breakfast. Just a short walk away from restaurants, cafes and shops. As the streets are rather narrow, we used the big parking lot near the public swimming pool.

9.0Sally Martel ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich, eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung sowie alles für ein erstes Frühstück gibt es noch dazu. Bereits im Vorfeld war der Kontakt vorbildlich. Die Location liegt mitten im Herz von Silves, man kann Restaurants und Geschäfte problemlos erreichen. Wer eine Anreise mit dem Auto plant, sollte allerdings einen Kleinwagen wählen, die Straßen in der Altstadt sind sehr eng. Wir können diese Unterkunft sowie die Gastgeberin nur empfehlen.

Lovely, comfortable little house in the historic district
9.0Casa doce is a cleverly renovated old house in Silves’s historic center. Like all the old houses on the hillside, the footprint is small, but the renovations have made the most of the space and the result is a cute, comfortable house for 1-2 people. Extra kudos for the bathroom and kitchen remodel. It was rainy during my stay, so I could only briefly admire the rooftop terrace.
− The house is on one of the not-so-convenient side streets within the one-way system. I chose to park in a parking lot and ferry things back and forth. Personally, I love the character of this area, so happily deal with the slight inconvenience.

10.0The house is very welcoming, cosy, and well equipped. Sally was a wonderful host: she had the heating on when we arrived in the evening and welcomed us with a lovely welcome hamper. On check-out day, she also kindly took us to the train station. Great location and everything you need for a perfect stay.
