Great stay, private but still close enough to local supermarkets, pubs and a short drive to porthcawl, got to admire wildlife while enjoying the scenery, along with good walks for the dogs. Locals and the owners very friendly. Definitely one to come back to. Thanks for having us 🙂

Quiet, peaceful, CLEAN! Hot tub was lovely for me and my partner. Was warming up by the time we got there. Very thoughtful of the host to get it going in preparation! The dogs relaxed and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh breeze. BBQ was perfect. My partner thoroughly enjoyed herself. Was very easy to get too. Bed was perfect. Any negative reviews from previous stays a while ago have clearly been addressed as it is absolutely bang for buck! Everything you need for a peaceful getaway. If I could add more photos I would!

The property is in a lovely, peaceful area surrounded by beautiful scenery. The owners were friendly, approachable and genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our stay. When we raised a couple of issues on arrival, they acted quickly to resolve them, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little place to stay and we made some great memories there.

− On arrival, the property wasn’t as clean as we had expected and the grass hadn’t been cut. The owners explained they were unhappy with the standard of cleaning provided and arranged for the property to be cleaned while we were out, as well as cutting the grass the following day. The property could benefit from a little TLC and some attention to detail to make it even better. I’d also like to add there isn’t any furniture around the BBQ as the photos show.

− DO NOT BOOK. I arrived at the property and within minutes knew I wasn’t staying. The smell was awful and there were flies everywhere. Not just one or two, but loads of them. I couldn’t stand being inside for more than a couple of minutes and ended up sitting in my car. I tried calling the host but got no answer, so I sent a message explaining about the smell and the flies. The response I got was that there was fly spray under the sink. Sorry, but that doesn’t solve the problem. The hot tub was also really disappointing. It looks lovely in the photos, but in reality it’s shoved in the corner of the garden under trees and looks nothing like what I expected from the listing. The host has since claimed the place smelled of citrus, but that wasn’t my experience at all. To me, it smelled like something had gone off. I left immediately and had to pay for alternative accommodation, yet the host still refuses to refund me despite knowing I didn’t stay there. What made the whole situation worse was the host’s attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, they came across as rude and dismissive and made me feel like I was being accused of making it up. I have continued to request a refund and am now being ignored altogether. I’ve never left a property so quickly in my life. Between the smell, the flies, the misleading photos and the lack of customer service afterwards, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Don’t waste your money if you don’t wanna be disappointed!

− Well,it could have a lot of potential but the owner decided to photoshop and use AI in some photos,not clean at all,the wall next to the tub is going to fall any minute and that’s a major hazard,probably Booking.com should check some of these reviews and check the propretie as well!a lot of dust and mold behind the window blinds,bed sheet were not changed,and the oven needs some serious scrub!

Beautiful little.olace with everything we need and basic. New hot tub is brilliant. Dog loved the space Beautiful views very private. 2nd stay was better than the first and will come back again and again for a short break away. Why pay hotel.price for a roo. When you can have all this
