Lovely stay on an authentic estancia!
10.0Loved the style and spaciousness of the main house. Food was delicious and fresh, using fruits of the large garden. Louise and her girls were gracious hosts. Loved the walks down the shaded lanes, taking a dip in the pool, using the hammocks, the hotseback ride, and watching the sunset with a sip of Malbec. Excellent wifi, comfy beds.
We’d go back in a heartbeat
10.0La Tomasa is a charming working farm that dates back to the 1800s. The staff are excellent hosts - friendly, attentive and looking for ways to enhance the stay. The full-board food was superb - lots of fresh produce grown on the property, and a delicious asado on the last day. There was lots to do - we rode horses and bikes, there’s a nice pool, and the animals are always entertaining.
− Rute 3 has become a truck highway to the south, but it’s far enough way from the house (about 0.5km or 1/3 mile) that the noise was not obtrusive.
